, 1969 Australian-born guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. His music - often located between slow soundscapes and Dronegebäuden - usually lives of a very finely drawn and ceased employment with standing harmonies and resonances. With his guitar and electronic sound creates Oren Ambarchi often strangely beautiful spaces that are drawn around the statics of very rich, vivid detail. His musical partners as well as stylistically far-ranging: from the Australian electronic musician Martin Ng on the doom metal band Sunn 0))) for Japanese noise pioneer Otomo Yoshihide, by the Swiss electronic musicians voice cracking noise of the Austrian musician Christian Fennesz on the New York jazz innovator John Zorn.
